Day two

Sun. Hooray!!!

Followed Mark's suggestion, I started from Waterloo station and walked along side the South Banks and then cross over the Thames from London Bridge to complete a loop on the tourist belt.

The London Eye. Check.
Graffiti by the Thames. Check.
Tate Modern. Check.
Shakespeare's Globe. Check.
Borough's Market. Check.
London Bridge. Check.
St. Paul's Cathedral. Check.
Westminster. Check.
King's College. Check.
Soho. Check.
China Town. Check.
Convent Garden. Check.

Haven't done such intensive sightseeing for a while. I was totally beat and decided my sightseeing career ends there.

Dine in this interesting restaurant called Leon. www.leonrestaurant.co.uk

The way they sell the restaurant is absolutely delightful. Even a poor mouse like me, I would love to pull out my last pound to dine there. It is an ethical ethnic raw food fusion restaurant. Humus, halloumi, wrap, Moroccan meatballs, mackerel, aioli, pearl barley, vegan, low GI, gluten free, dairy free, wheat free, low or no animal fats...those heavenly words. Listen to these lines under the desert section:

Dark Chocolate Tart
Dark as Heathcliffe.

Power Smoothie
It won't help you rule the world. It's much better than that.

Blackcurrant Quencher
...you enjoyed when you were younger and had just come back from the park.

On the breakfast section:
Baps (a kind of Scottish bread. Also, a slang word for boobs.)

Bacon
Best British bacon, cured naturally. Absolutely free from nasties, unlike almost any other bacon you can buy.

Leon, the best sight of my trip.
