Another screening I went today. It is the best text book example of empowering women. Two South African women founded this Org. called Monkey biz to help out the inner city poor women in Cape Town by encouraging them to bead their way out off poverty and the shadow of AIDS.
In the documentary, Nelson Mandela said "... we lived in the world that is divied where the we witness the advance of technology and medicine while millions of children un-school, and AIDS has threatned the fabric of our lives...today I ask all of you to look straight into this issue...and today you all are Africans..."
The world is not gonna be fine, not just snapping finger wishful thinking kind of simple and easy. But it is getting a little bit better than yesterday. That thought makes me happy.
