Friend of mine sent me a short film on youtube about this 50ish lady walking triumphantly on the beach in short skirt and tight top with cheeky 80s music in the background. At first, it was a laugh. Maybe a prick or some poke fun music video. Then I learnt that she is my friend's friend's mother-in-law.
What is more, she's got a blog. I read her blog and I was amazed. From the initial giggling over her "inappropriate" (my prejudice) sentimental comments and some confession of her previous love life to having felt lamed about my own life. Just to think, how many women at their 50s have the energy to write down their lives with sensitivity and let along staying fit like a 18 year-old? Me, almost hit 30, barely fit, lazy as sloth, and not brave enough to describe my love life. A wimp so to speak.
so, I listed her blog among my favorite links. Just a small reminder that it is the true princess shines from within and even if you are not princess material, you'd know at least it is not just a fairytale.
